Hey guys,

Just wanted to make an update as to why I haven't updated or worked on the website much in 2022.

During 2022 I started suffering complications. I was in the best shape of my life but something wasn't right. I was suffering flare ups from my ulcerative colitis and it gradually grew to be a major problem. In Canada we have been suffering from a lack of doctors and medical backlog of procedures and surgeries and unfortunately I wasn't able to see a doctor for five months after initially going into the emergency department and requesting help from a gastroenterologist in April 2022.

By September 2022 I was finally able to see a medical professional thanks to the help of a another doctor in my local emergency department. After a colonoscopy and CT scan it was determined that I had cancer.

Fast forward to February and I have went through surgeries, radiation and am in the middle of chemotherapy. I am responding well to chemotherapy but the future is still undetermined.

Please send me your prayers and your well wishes. Despite my love for ultraviolent backyard wrestling, I am a Christian and believe in positivity and prayer.

With regard to the Backyard Wrestling Link I am planning on dedicating a full week to updating the website and working on some of the larger aspects of the website. Over the last year I have continued to discover new and old backyard wrestling feds to add to the "FEDS" and "CHANNELS" section of the website. I have spent a great amount of time on thinking about how I want to revitalize the website and make it more "complete".

If anyone wants to help on the website please contact me on the message board. I could really use help from several people to develop the site in the fashion I have imagined. Back in the day we always had several people working on the site or contributing in the forms of columns, reviews, interviews etc.
