One of the best backyard feds to emerge online over the past few years is Resurrection Wrestling. Consisting of talent from Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi this backyard wrestling company has been providing the backyard wrestling community with a fantastic show called Elevation since 2022.
I always enjoy Resurrection Wrestling, whether it be their matches, promos or segments. The matches are often wild, consisting of everything from hardcore moments to insane aerial stunts. Promos and segments are interesting and fluid. Rarely do these guys miss a beat or cue in their live promos. For a backyard fed these matches have good psychology and pace. The matches are also fun to watch. For every serious character in Resurrection there is a comedic character, such as the masked wrestler in the photo below.
We need more rakes in backyard wrestling!
For its simplicity, Resurrection boasts detailed and entertaining backyard wrestling matches. The moves, chain wrestling and high spots are performed with accuracy and professionalism. As I watch their matches I wonder if many of their competitors have been professionally trained at one point. I have watched many worse indy and pro matches I'll tell you, and without a doubt, from start-to-finish Resurrection Wrestling is worth the watch.

Like any backyard fed there are things I'd like to see changed with the fed if however possible. Some of their talent wears wrestling gear, while others are in street clothes. If you have to wear clothes come out in something nice! I'd also like to see all the guys in wrestling boots and some custom made t-shirts. It would be cool if they painted or printed some logos on the turnbuckles or their wrestling canvas. Simple things like a handful of custom flags from Alibaba Express (approximately $10 USD) would look nice for the ring apron, entrance set or behind your fans. It would also look nice if the group cleaned up their entrance better. Not being disrespectful but your entrance set is quite a mess and you guys would benefit from a clean-up or new set construction!
It also wouldn't be a bad idea to get a couple more angles to your matches, as dual or triple angles go over quite well with fans. Your shows would also benefit from post-production commentating as well as graphics for when your wrestlers make their entrance. This would help advance your storylines and keep your viewers up to date with whats happening in your events. For a casual fan it is difficult to follow who the wrestlers are without commentating. I'd also like to see a timekeepers bell and the referee in traditional professional referee gear. A nice pair of slacks, shoes and collared shirt would add some professionalism to your weekly shows.
