Backyard Wrestling was everywhere in the 1990's and early 2000's. Talk shows, news reports and home videos were all covering the phenomenon of hardcore backyard wrestling. Groups were gaining massive exposure through these efforts and becoming nationally and internationally recognized.
Traces of Death, the shock and gore home video series decided to feature several hardcore youth backyard wrestling groups of the day. Two notable features include High Impact Wrestling and Wicked Treacherous Wrestling, both known for their death-match wrestling. Sawyer from wTw and Chaos from HIW were two people I regularly communicated with in the early days of my backyard wrestling experience online. Both of these feds had tons of footage and videos available, yet hardly any remains on the Internet.
