Buried in the Backyard: The UWA Story (90 Mins)

In the late 90's/early 00's, professional wrestling was riding a massive wave of popularity. With that being said, kids across the country started putting on their own versions of WrestleMania in their backyards. This is the story of the Ultimate Wrestling Alliance, based out of Boston Massachusetts. From 1998 until the end of 2000 it ran consistently, then a few reunion shows and the eventual "Last Rites" put it to bed in the year 2006. This documentary was initially started in 2005 with a few interviews being recorded and has sat dormant for the better part of 16 years.
